National Bailliage

Welcome to the Australian National Bailliage.
The Australian National Bailliage (Chapter) consists of ten established regional Bailliage’s each co-ordinating & staging unique & fun filled events around food, wine & other beverages. These include themed dinners, lunches, wine tastings, weekend getaways, cruises & Grand Chapitres. Our Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD) events is a specific concentrate on wines, spirits, liqueurs & crafted beverages. Its goal is to promote the enjoyment, appreciation & knowledge of these beverages through themed dinners or tastings.
Save the Date!
The Australian National Bailliage (Chapter) together with the Canberra Regions Bailliage will be hosting a Chapitre in Canberra on 6 & 7 February next year. Planning is underway for an Intronisation (Induction) Ceremony & dinner at the Commonweath Club.
In 1248 the French King Saint Louis ordered the establishment of the professional guild of the “Ayeurs” or goose roasters.
