I am delighted to invite you to a black tie gala dinner at the iconic InterContinental Double Bay to mark the end of our Chaine year and the Christmas period.

Hotel General Manager and long standing Chaine Member Ralf Bruegger has designed a menu that is a whimsical juxtaposition of the traditional and the modern. This will be in all respects a festive occasion where Chaine friends can get together.

The evening will commence with an array of hot and cold Canapés followed by a five course dinner that will display a touch of extravagance combined with the best of Australian produce.

In looking at our end of year function your Committee is determined that it will be a traditional ‘Chaine’ function where the uniqueness of our institution will be celebrated. Those long standing members of the NSW Chaine will recall with fondness the outstanding previous functions organised by Ralf at Pier One and the Observatory hotel. No pressure Ralf!

On the night the Program for 2019 will be announced and we will be having a traditional silent auction to raise funds to support our young chefs and young sommeliers competitions.

The evening will commence at 6 30 pm preceded by a Special General Meeting at 6 pm.

Double Bay is well served by public transport buses. As a thought ferries leave from Circular Quay Wharf 4 @1727 and 1757. For those who drive parking is available after 6 in the surrounding streets and there is a paid car park available.
