Oktoberfest in Noosa
La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Australia hosts Octoberfest in Noosa
At 12.00 midday sixteen La Chaîne members, guests and visitors were welcomed by Bailli Leon Naus, dressed in traditional lederhosen and Vice Chargée de Mission Bindy Naus, wearing a German dirndl.
The long luncheon table, garden surrounds and drinks marquee were decorated in a German festive theme of blue and white. German music completed the setting for La Chaîne’s Sunshine Coast Octoberfest themed luncheon.
German beer and wines flowed from Hirsch Wine Estate, which were enjoyed throughout the event. The luncheon menu included a starter of salt sticks with salmon, followed by the main course of venison goulash served with noodles, pear and cranberries, red cabbage and cucumber salad, all prepared and cooked by Leon and Bindy, along with a dessert of traditional apple strudel with calvados ice-cream, all completely delicious and well presented.
The members and guests mingled together creating happy and positive camaraderie that we enjoyed as a valued part of our La Chaîne function.
