Every year chefs around the world celebrate International Chefs Day. This special day, inaugurated by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies, pays homage to the men and women in the culinary world.
CHAINE DE ROTISSEURS and GAULT&MILLAU took the opportunity to toast a CHEERS TO THE CHEFS, a culinary celebration giving recognition to chefs everywhere for their hard work, professional dedication and culinary passion.
CHEERS TO THE CHEFS, was proudly hosted by Chef Darren Templeman at his inimitable Sydney venue, O Bar and Dining located on the very top of Australia Square, a most appropriate place to make a proper cheer to the culinary world as to be heard in five continents!
Keeping with the theme of International Chefs Day, Chef Darren offered a 5-course menu, with each dish honouring the food of a specific continent.
The contribution of the iconic Chefs worldwide is recognised in the book Great, Grand & Famous Chefs. Gault&Millau was pleased to give each attendee a copy of the book as a memento of our event.
