Our Vice-Conseiller Culinaire Mate Herceg

has prepared a Diner Apical experience for La Chaine Members and their guests can experience this first-hand at a venue set amongst tiny historic workers cottages and lofty industrial warehouses, combined with sparkling new structures.

 

Canapés will be served upon arrival at

6-00pm, followed by a welcome from our Chef at 6-30pm who will introduce a unique three-course diner.

The restaurant evokes the atmosphere of New York's meatpacking district, delivering a menu touched by the distinctive flavour of the traditional Japanese Binchotan charcoal grill.

 

Eastside Kitchen & Bar is a short walk from the Central Station in the heart of the Chippendale creative precinct at the

Old Rum Store, directly opposite the University of Technology on Broadway.

Our Chefs

Chef Stanley Wong has had an enviable culinary career working in several applauded

restaurants worldwide including the famed Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong and opening Jean-Georges Vonggerichten's Spice Market in

New York City as Executive Chef.

 

He is flanked by Head Chef Angie Ford and Restaurant Manager Ivan Gasparini

who have both previously helmed the team at Porterhouse by Laris,

an upscale steakhouse in Hong Kong. Together they are a formidable team heading up one of the newest restaurants in Sydney.
