What a great event it was! Thirty of our members and guests met at the Nero Dining restaurant in Broadbeach Waters to enjoy a French influenced luncheon of Fois Gras, Escargot, an entrée of Coquiles followed by Canard Confit for the main. Following the main were French cheeses, Truffle and Valencay Chevre infused Brie and then a superb dessert of Quince Clafoutis completed the meal.
All French wines accompanied each course commencing with French Champagne and of course they were all exquisite. Thank you, Peter Panousis.
Many of the guests ventured into wearing berets and red, white and blue colours. It was a memorable function.
