The Canberra division warmly invites members and guests to a special weekend event at 2020 Travellers’ Choice awards restaurant – Sage on Saturday 1 May 2021!  

 

Sage Dining Rooms has triumphed as the best fine dining restaurant in the nation, cementing itself as Canberra’s premier restaurant.  Sage is best known for their modern- Australian, colourful degustation menu. At Tripadvisor’s 2019 Traveller’s Choice Awards, Sage was announced 2nd in the Fine Dining Category; being the only award winner from Canberra across all three Restaurant Categories. Sage managed to outdo their own record, a win that carries significant accomplishment after the devastation that hit the Hospitality Industry.  

 

A degustation dinner with matching wines is priced at $180.00 per head.

 

The Canberra team are also hosting an afternoon at the acclaimed Botticelli to Van Gogh: Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London. It is the first time in its near 200-year history that the National Gallery, London has toured an exhibition of works internationally. Drawing on the strengths of their collection, this exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see 61 paintings by some of Europe’s most revered artists, including Botticelli, Titian, Rembrandt, Vermeer, El Greco, Velázquez, Goya, Turner, Constable, Van Dyck, Gainsborough, Renoir, Cézanne, Monet, Gauguin and Van Gogh. 

 

Again tickets are limited so please let us know if you are interested in this event as an add-on to the dinner at Sage.  Ticket prices are priced at $28 for non-members and $22 for members of the National Gallery of Australia.

If sufficient people stay on to the Sunday, our Canberra team will organise a wine tasting & light lunch at one of Canberra’s well known vineyards.  Details to be confirmed once numbers are known.
